Privacy

This is a plain starting policy. Edit app/privacy/page.tsx before you rely on it.

GlitchCatch checks public websites and emails the people who asked us to. The operator mailing address is 30 Whitehall, Newport Beach, CA 92660.

What we store

Free checks store the URL, the result, and a hash of the requester IP. We do not store the raw IP. Account data is an email address, the sites you add, check history, alert settings, and optional white-label name, logo URL, and color.

Sign-in is a one-time link sent by Resend from hello@glitchcatch.com. Session cookies are httpOnly. Stripe stores payment details. We store the Stripe customer id, subscription id, price, status, and period end.

If you create an account and do not start checkout, we may send one reminder about a day later. That email has a one-click opt-out, and we send it at most once. A free check run while you are signed in stores your account id with the result so internal traffic can be left out of the public counters.

Why

We use this data to run checks, send alerts and Monday reports, enforce plan limits, and keep the service from being abused. We do not sell it.

Retention and deletion

You can delete an account from the alerts settings. Deleting the account removes the user, sites, check history, and reports, and asks Stripe to cancel an active subscription. Backups and Stripe records may persist under their own schedules.

Public result pages

A free check creates a page at /r/id. It is meant for sharing and is marked noindex. Do not paste a URL you are not allowed to share.
